ha! first, he's adorable and I love, love, love the hat. Did you make it? Second, this reminds me of something Ethan said last week. i asked him why he looked so serious (When he was out in the yard) and he said "sometimes its so cold, I have to focus on smiling." :)
apparently it was too cold to smile.
